Premier meters with integral PACT communication interface facilitate high-speed data transfer through DOS based Meter Reading Instruments. Cash flows of electrical utilities can be improved by implementing electronic reading of energy meters.

The PACT port can optionally be used for remote meter reading applications using different types of communication media.
